With its first San Diego location now open in Liberty Station in Point Loma, Bar Method offers a one-hour workout that combines elements of yoga, Pilates, and ballet to prompt core strengthening, fat burning interval training, and muscle shaping techniques. A favorite of celebrities like Drew Barrymore, Bar Method is done both at a ballet barre and on the floor, and provides a full-body workout that will elongate muscles, helping participants achieve a dancer-like body. San Francisco resident Burr Leonard developed this exercise program after extensively studying the exercises developed more than 50 years ago by the late German dancer Lotte Berk.
