Paying It Forward

For local resident Jewel Perry, who turns seven on June 1, her birthday wish is that the local community will give to a cause she is passionate about supporting. Donations to her fundraising page through The Water Project will help provide clean and safe drinking water to people who suffer needlessly without it in the developing world.

 

Perry notes, “I would like to earn money to supply a school in Africa with fresh water to drink. It is important for kids like me and my friends to be able to drink water when they are at school. If you decide to give me a gift for my birthday please choose to make a donation to this Web site instead.”

 

The Water Project, Inc. is a nonprofit organization bringing relief to communities around the world who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water. With monies raised, The Water Project’s partners in the field can do the digging and construction needed to provide clean, safe water efficiently and sustainably. They also mobilize, train, and follow-up with local communities, helping ensure long-term success.
