Trend Setters

Published

Personal stylist Mahjuba Levine teamed up with Neiman Marcus style advisor Alex Yanez recently to show off high-end fashions, and show how to make them street savvy. One of her favorite fall trends is “rocker chic,” with the ’80s-inspired moto jacket, a great wardrobe staple. “It can be worn many different ways, such as with dresses or even as an alternative to a suit jacket,” says Levine. She’s also wild about animal print, another top trend. “To make it your own,” she advises, “choose animal print in an accessory you love, such as a scarf, shoes, or jewelry.” Head to toe? Too much! Levine, owner since 2002 of the personal wardrobe service Closet Therapy, is also on the team at Style for Hire, a network of personal stylists handpicked by Stacy London of TCL’s hit show, What Not to Wear. She offers wardrobe editing, personal shopping, “mommy makeovers,” and styling for both women and men. Her motto: “Life is hard. Getting dressed shouldn’t be.” (619.838,7706, www.mahjuba.com)
