Let's go back home and try again.

Form and Function

It’s a wearables market, and OMsignal has jumped on board with its latest biometric shirt designed for creating the perfect workout. Hidden in the shirt are sensors dedicated to measuring a wearer’s heart rate, breathing, and general movements. All that data is then synced to an accompanying cell phone app via Bluetooth where users can boil it all down to how many calories have been burned, how much body mass has been modified, their optimal cardiovascular workout rate, and more. The shirt is powered by a rechargeable, removable data module that attaches to the fabric, and lasts for over 20 workouts. Preorders are being taken now for the men’s version, with a women’s version coming later. Grab it from the company’s site for $200. (www.omsignal.com)   RYAN THOMAS
