At just 28, Elizabeth Huettinger has a lofty job. She is the new wine director of the five-star, five diamond Grand Del Mar, and is responsible for the resort’s 37,000 bottle wine collection. A certified sommelier, she was most recently an assistant wine director at Spago in Beverly Hills. Huettinger supervises the sommelier team, and helps develop wine dinners, tastings, and seminars for which Addison is so well known. In addition, she collaborates with leading global winemakers to develop extraordinary private bottlings from California, Germany, and Austria. Huettinger is currently studying for the Court of Master Sommeliers’ Advanced Sommelier exam in May. (www.thegranddelmar.com)
