Jakes Fun Run

Jake’s Del Mar presents its 31st Annual Jake’s Del Mar Beach Fun Run on Saturday, November 2, at noon. The 5K takes place on the beach, starting and finishing at Jake’s. Race awards will be given to first place finishers for men and women. There are also awards for the oldest and youngest persons to finish, as well as the baby stroller division. Entry fees are $25 for adults (children under 12 are $15), and include a T-shirt, barbecue, drinks, live music, and more. Registration is underway, or sign up the day at 10:30am. Proceeds from the race will be donated by the Jake’s Del Mar Legacy of Aloha Program to the La Colonia Branch of the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito. (858.755.2002, www.jakesdelmar.com)
