CRC’s 25th annual English Tea

April 4, 2020 | Virtual Event

Community Resource Center’s 25th Annual English Tea is moving online to provide funding to support CRC’s wraparound programs that include a domestic violence emergency shelter, nutritious food, housing assistance, legal advocacy, counseling, and more. While guests can no longer gather together to raise funds, the virtual event will feature a welcome by CRC’s CEO John Van Cleef, who will share an inspirational video. Supporters will also watch a presentation from keynote presenter, Dr. Ami Roeschlein, on the timely topic of “resilience,” and hear from Katrina Dodson, CRC’s Board president, on what she did with the tea’s shortbread cookies. Supporters will have the opportunity to download recipes to create yummy tea treats, and view lots of photos that highlight the previous 24 years of the Tea. Be sure to “Like” CRC’s Facebook page so you can see posts about the Tea, and please share them on your page. For your social posts, please use these hashtags: #CRCTea #CRCVirtualTea #socialconcernatadistance. And tag CRC using @sandiegocrc in all your Facebook and Instagram posts. This year’s English Tea committee is led by co-chairs Pat Moore and Sue Dowd. crcncc.org/englishtea
