Celebrate Brazil

Published

The Bahia Resort Hotel’s Brazilian Carnaval returns to Mission Bay this summer for the second year in a row on Thursday nights beginning June 26. The celebration of Brazil’s most famous holiday includes live Samba music, dancers, and an all-you-can-eat beach barbecue buffet featuring Feijoada and other authentic food from the South American country. Bahia executive chef Rob Famulare and his team will create the buffet, which includes Picanha (grilled Churrasco-style beef), Feijoada (pork and black bean stew), Moqueca de Peixe (Brazilian fish stew), and Brazilian Beer Marinated Chicken. Upon entering, guests 21 years of age and older will receive a caipirinha, the sugarcane-based national cocktail of Brazil. Room packages, group tickets, and military discounts are also available.
