BraveCort Brew Fest

2014’s La Jolla Art & Wine Festival is teaming up with the BraveCort Foundation to bring a new nightlife element to the festival. This 21+ event will come alive on Saturday, October 11, from 8-11pm, and will take place within LJAWF festival grounds providing imbibers with entertainment, live music, and world-class beer from over a dozen of San Diego’s award-winning local breweries. The highlight of the brew fest, BraveCort’s “Masskrugstemmen” (a traditional Bavarian Beer Stein holding contest) will pit participants against each other, testing their strength and endurance while holding a 1-liter stein of beer in one hand. One of San Diego’s highly anticipated new breweries, URBN St. Brewing Co., will create a special collaboration beer, dubbed “BraveCort Dry Irish Stout,” and all proceeds from the event will directly benefit BraveCort’s fight against childhood cancer.
