Bike To Work Day

The Encinitas 101 MainStreet Association will present its first “Bike Day” on Friday, May 30 in Downtown Encinitas. The all-day celebration will begin with a “Bike for Books” charity ride at 8am at Encinitas Ride Cyclery, and will culminate with a group joy ride at 5:30pm at Arnette. Throughout the day, many Downtown Encinitas merchants will host pit stops and offer freebies and discounts to cyclists.

 
The Joy Ride will leave Arnette at 5:30pm and return around 6pm, following the sharrow lanes south to Swami’s, turning back north into Leucadia, then back south to Arnette. There will be opportunity prizes and free refreshments for all participants, and everyone is welcome.  Those without a bike can even rent one for free, courtesy of Concept.
