La Jolla Art & Wine Festival

The La Jolla Art & Wine Festival (LJAWF) returns to downtown La Jolla for a second year on October 9-10, from 11am-6pm each day. Last year’s inaugural festival featured more than 100 fine artists and 20,000 attendees, and returned nearly $40,000 to area schools. LJAWF will continue its commitment to explore the world of emerging and established artists, featuring highly accomplished members of the arts community. The festival will take place on upper Girard Avenue, between Pearl and Genter, and at the La Jolla Elementary School playground, and will also feature a beer and wine garden, food vendors, and a family art center. Proceeds support valuable programs at La Jolla, Torrey Pines, and Bird Rock Elementary Schools including art, music, science, physical education, technology, and on-site medical care by a school nurse.
