Shelter to Soldier’s 8th Annual Be the Light Gala, presented by Cox Communications, will be virtual this year. With the support of gold sponsors Unite Doggy ’Poo, Chris and Melissa McCune, and Sycuan Casino Resort, as well as event partners The Fish Market, Ranch & Coast Magazine, and Redfearn & Associates, ticket options include musical entertainment by Ryan Hiller, optional four-course, fine dining meal kits from The Fish Market delivered to your doorstep the morning of the event, VIP swag bags, a custom cocktail with mixologist presentation, and an exciting silent and live auction emceed by Clint Bell. Funds raised will support Shelter to Soldier’s mission of adopting dogs from local shelters and training them to become psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 combat veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and/or other injuries associated with traumatic service experiences.
