Dance for Diabetes

The inaugural Del Mar Dance for Diabetes raised funds to support Diabetes Research Connection’s efforts to connect donors with scientists enabling peer-reviewed, novel research designed to prevent and cure type 1 diabetes, minimize its complications, and improve the quality of life for those living with the disease. Guests enjoyed live dancing and music from Encore Event Entertainment, delectable bites from Pacifica Del Mar, Il Fornaio, Shimbashi Izakaya, Del Mar Rendezvous, and Cardiff Beach Bar at Tower 13, and an open bar provided by Young’s Market Company. A silent dance party closed the evening. Event chair was Sherry Ahern.
