The National Cheers Foundation’s 2018 gala, Cheersfest by the Sea, will be an immersive creative experience and will feature music by the Hollywood Stones and David Alva, as well as an interactive art performance by Amy Burkman. This year’s gala co-chairs are Gina Hixson, AnneMarie Irwin, Kristi Pieper, Mimi Swenson, and Kate Woods. Founded in 2012 by Anseth Richards, the National Cheers Foundation raises funds to support medical research, health institutions, advocacy groups, and outreach programs, and serves as a resource to help women empower themselves. 858.361.2551, nationalcheersfoundation.org
