California Wolf Center’s annual fundraiser will take place at the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley. Honoring 40 years of wild wolf recovery, this year’s event promises to be a night of merriment in celebration of the nonprofit’s work protecting wolves in their natural habitats. Join emcee Shawn Styles of CBS News 8 for live and silent auctions, entertainment, fine dining, and live Art with Heart interactive paintings. For four decades, the CWC has been dedicated to the recovery of wolves in the wildlands where they once roamed, working toward a landscape where wolves thrive in healthy ecosystems and people and wolves successful coexist. The nonprofit also plays an integral part as one of the largest breeding and host centers for the rare Mexican gray wolf, while partnering with agencies and ranchers in the Southwest and Mexico to reduce wolf-livestock conflict and support working landscapes. 760.765.0030, californiawolfcenter.org
