Known best for its traditional and fresh takes on classic dishes infused with fun and flavor, Searsucker Del Mar invites wine lovers to indulge in the upcoming Searsupper Club Wine Dinner Series, featuring a perfectly tailored menu fit for only the best in Del Mar. Enjoy a five course meal highlighting dishes such as the Root Beer Braised Short Rib and Spicy Buffalo Style Quail while sipping on perfectly paired wine selections from Rombauer Vineyards.
With more than 35 years of winemaking experience, Searsucker will guide diners through each of the handpicked selections. Searsucker Del Mar’s Executive Chef, Cesar Oceguera, will be on site to share the inspiration behind each dish in detail.
This intimate wine paired dinner showcases the lush wine selections from Rombauer Vineyards. Bred from the finest, the Rombauer family bring a legacy of culinary passion as descendants of Irma Rombauer, author of the Joy of Cooking. Enter into this tradition and experience the “joy of wine” with the 2015 Carneros Chardonnay, rated 92 points by James Suckling. Guests at the dinner will also taste the Napa Valley Cabernet, the first wine ever produced by Rombauer Vineyards.
