Just in Time for Foster Youth’s annual Walk The Talk fundraising celebration at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine connected and engaged attendees with the JIT mission and the young men and women it serves. This year’s honorees were Louarn and Alan Sorkin. Louarn was one of the co-founders of Just in Time, when there was little recognition of the plight of young people leaving foster care. Event hosts were Jon and Kyung Pak, and Marleigh and Alan Gleicher. Ellyn Levine, MD and Marty Goodman, and Lauri and Steve Buehler served as honorary committee co-chairs.
