The Soft White Sixties, named “Best Up And Coming Band To Check Out” by CBS Local, and noted as one of the“ Top 25 Shows at SXSW” by Paste Magazine, will make a special appearance at the 36th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival in the RADD booth to drive support and promote awareness of RADD’s 2016 road safety initiative. They will also perform live that same evening at 11pm at The Soda Bar.

Visit the RADD booth at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival in Balboa Park between 12-2pm for an acoustic performance by The Soft White Sixties, who will be on hand for meet-and-greets, photos, and signings; a Rock Star selfie photo shoot adorned with St. Patrick’s Day costume elements; and interactive games designed to promote RADD’s “Friends Don’t Let Friends Drive Drunk” message. The colorful booth will be designed with seasonal St. Patrick’s Day decor and green stylish gear for crowds to wear for fun, memorable, event photos.  RADD campus reps from SDSU and UC San Diego will staff the booth.

RADD, “The Entertainment Industry’s Voice for Road Safety,” (Recording Artists, Actors and Athletes Against Drunk Driving), is an internationally recognized nonprofit organization that empowers media partners, celebrities, and socially conscious supporters to create positive attitudes about road safety and promote risk-intervention strategies to avoid driving impaired. RADD produced the iconic celebrity “Friends Don’t Let Friends Drive Drunk” campaign and is a proud two-time recipient of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s prestigious Public Service Award and a Governors Highway Safety Association honoree. radd.org
