Chargers Drive XXXVI

The San Diego Blood Bank is getting ready for its longest running community event, the Chargers Drive XXXVI, held on Tuesday, November 25, from 9am-6pm, at the Town & Country Convention Center in Mission Valley. Attendees also get the opportunity to meet the Chargers players, enjoy live music and interactive activities, and take advantage of free bone marrow registry testing. Guests will also enjoy performances by Pip, a finalist from Season 2 of The Voice, as well as other great bands and solo artists. There will be a VIP meet and greet opportunity with the Chargers players in an intimate, exclusive reception.

Blood donors who donate at the SDBB donor center or mobile drive during “Chargers Mania” through November 24 will receive a voucher to be redeemed at the Chargers Drive for a T-shirt and VIP wristband for the autograph line. Donors can also enter to win a new Honda CRV at sandiegobloodbank.org. The Honda CRV will be given away at the Chargers Drive.

Admission to the event is $5 for adults, $1 for children ages 12 and under, with proceeds helping to pay for a new bloodmobile. (619.296.6393, www.sandiegobloodbank.org)
