My Sisters Closet Debuts

Published

The City of Encinitas is about to get a little more sisterly when My Sister’s Closet and Well Suited officially open their stylish doors on Saturday, November 2, at 9am. The North County My Sister’s Closet and Well Suited stores are located next door to one another at 146 N. El Camino Real Suite A & B in Encinitas, near the intersection of Encinitas Boulevard and El Camino Real at the Encinitas Market Place.

Accompanied by the Encinitas Mayor Teresa Arballo Barth, Deputy Mayor Lisa Shaffer, and Encinitas City Council Member Tony Kranz, My Sister’s Closet and Well Suited, which are run by three fashionista sisters, will cut the red ribbon, open the doors, and give the first 100 people in line a free swag bag. Once inside, shoppers will get first dibs on one-of-a-kind designer finds like stylish fall looks for guys and gals alike, special designer handbags, shoes, jewelry, and accessories.

“We are so excited to be opening our 14th store and to be giving the North County and Encinitas our fashionably fun and smart designer consignment shops,” says sister and CEO Ann Siner. “If you have never been to My Sister’s Closet and Well Suited you are in for a unique shopping experience! We give people the rare opportunity to make money by consigning last season’s looks or find a beautiful designer handbag, pair of shoes, or a one-of-a-kind look for the best price in town.”

The new Encinitas stores feature a beach theme with repurposed wood and cement floors. Combined the space totals 8,421-square-feet with 6,489-square-feet going to the ladies at My Sister’s Closet, and 1,932-square-feet reserved for men at Well Suited.

Eco-Chic Consignments, Inc., which is a family of consignment shops, opened its first San Diego location of My Sister’s Closet and Well Suited in the Costa Verde Shopping Center (across from UTC) in 2011. Since then My Sister’s Closet and Well Suited have become San Diego’s fashionably smart place to consign last season’s favorites, pick-up some cash, and plunk it back down for the newest fashion gems. Siner says the response from the San Diego community has been overwhelming and more growth is planned over the next few years in California. (760.436.3600, www.mysisterscloset.com)
