10th Annual Harvest For Hope

On Sunday, September 22, from 3-6pm, at Stingaree, Harvest For Hope will bring together some of the finest chefs in San Diego, whose dishes will be paired with selected wineries, craft beers, and spirits, to benefit the Emilio Nares Foundation. Guests will also enjoy a special performance by trumpet virtuoso Gilbert Castellanos and the Sensational Strings. Founded by Richard and Diane Nares, who lost their son Emilio to cancer, the organization provides information, programs, and services for underprivileged families with a child battling cancer in San Diego. Event emcee is KFMB’s Carlo Cecchetto. This year’s honoree is cancer survivor and advocate Randi Hosking, owner of Indigo Salon and Spa. Tickets are $125. (www.emilionaresfoundation.org)
