Festival Orchestra Opening & Amadeus Gala

In his farewell season, maestro David Atherton leads the Mainly Mozart Festival Orchestra in a spectacular evening of Mozart & Beethoven on Saturday, June 8. Mainly Mozart’s Festival Orchestra Opening Night & Amadeus Gala will take place at 5pm at The Village Church in Rancho Santa Fe. Performers joining Atherton include Nathan Hughes, oboe; Anthony McGill, clarinet; Whitney Crockett, bassoon; and Julie Landsman, horn. Honorary chairs are Jere and Joyce Oren; gala chair is Jo Ann Kilty. Tickets begin at $125 each. (619.239.0100, www.mainlymozart.org)
