Finchs Spring Fling Event

On Sunday, April 28, from 1-3pm, head to Finch’s Bistro and Wine Bar in La Jolla for a Spring Fling fashion show. Enjoy a gourmet two-course menu, fine wine (optional), and a runway fashion show featuring the latest designs from local women’s retailers Mimi & Red and Pink Lagoon. Executive chef Mario Medina will create a fresh menu inspired by the season’s finest offerings — avocados, beets, chard, and cauliflower, to name a few. Guests can also expect these bright spring hues to be reflected on the runway in the form of floral prints, peek-a-boo pieces, and beautiful beading. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations of gently used teenage girls and women’s clothing to benefit local mother/daughter-run nonprofit, My Girlfriend’s Closet. A portion of proceeds from the luncheon will also be donated to the organization. Tickets are $35 each. Reservations can be made online or by calling the restaurant.
