Published

San Diego-based Schubach Aviation has added a fully upgraded Citation II jet to its fleet of private, luxury aircraft. According to Schubach Aviation president Henry Schubach, the new Citation II comes with a complete state-of-the-art avionics package, fresh new leather interior, airshow, 110v power and video at each passenger seat, an enclosed lavatory and a refreshment center.

With a range of 1,200 nautical miles and cruising speed of 405 miles per hour, the newly acquired aircraft is well suited for short to mid-range trips for medium-sized groups of up to seven passengers.

“This Citation II nicely fills a need among our light-jet customers with larger groups who want to stay within a more economic price point for private jet charter,” says Schubach.  It’s ideal for mid-range flights to places such as Cabo San Lucas, Denver, and Portland.”

The Citation II joins Schubach Aviation’s fleet of 11 private aircraft, meticulously maintained by the company’s own expert mechanics at its 45,000-square-foot hangar at Palomar Airport in Carlsbad. Besides the Citation II, the company operates two wide-bodied Bombardier Challenger 601s, a Challenger 300, two Hawkers, a Citation Jet, a factory-new CJ3, Gulfstream IV-SP, and a soon-to-come Citation Sovereign. Since its inception 20 years ago, Schubach Aviation has maintained a flawless safety record, flying passengers to destinations around the globe. (www.schubachaviation.com)
