30th Annual Jakes Del Mar Beach Fun Run

On Saturday, October 13, Jake’s Del Mar will host its 30th Annual Jake’s Del Mar Beach Fun Run, beginning at noon. The 5K run takes place on the beach, starting and finishing at Jake’s. Race awards will be given to the first place finishers for men and women, along with oldest and youngest to finish, and the baby stroller division. Advance entry fees are $25 for adults and $15 for children under 12, and include an event T-shirt, healthy barbecue, drinks on the beach, live music, awards, and opportunity prizes. Proceeds will be donated by the Jake’s Del Mar Legacy of Aloha Program to the Del Mar Lifeguard Association. (858/755-2002, www.jakesdelmar.com/fun-run)
