Tenth Annual Sharp HospiceCare Benefit Regatta

All hands are on deck for the tenth annual Sharp HospiceCare Benefit Regatta on Friday, August 24, and Saturday, August 25, to benefit Sharp HospiceCare’s Homes for Hospice campaign, an initiative to build hospice homes in San Diego. The event kicks off Friday evening with a pre-race dinner, followed by all-day festivities on Saturday, as guests board sponsored yachts and cruise along the race course for a breathtaking view of the regatta and the San Diego Bay. This year’s event is expected to net $250,000 for the campaign, which so far has led to the completion of two homes in the neighborhoods of La Mesa and Del Cerro, with a third home in the South Bay currently being planned.
