Swinging For Seany Charity Golf Event

On Monday, June 11, from 10am-8pm, some of San Diego’s top business professionals, philanthropists, and pro athletes are expected to appear on the lush greens of Fairbanks Ranch Country Club for the Second Annual Swinging for Seany Golf Tournament. The event, hosted by The Seany Foundation, will benefit children, teens, and young adults battling cancer by raising awareness and funds for key research and programs. Long Drive Champ Vinny Ciurluini from Charity Golf International and LPGA golfer Debbie Dahmer will entertain and challenge players with fun competitions. Players can also compete for exciting prizes such as $5,000 cash and a brand-new Toyota Scion. Other highlights include a barbecue lunch, cocktail hour, awards ceremony and dinner, as well as numerous chances to win exciting prizes and auction items, including golf and non-golf related excursions. Sean Lewis Robins founded The Seany Foundation in 2005, as he battled his own cancer. He fought Ewing sarcoma (a rare bone cancer) for nearly seven years, until his death in 2006. He was just 22.
