Holiday Wonderland

It’s hard to believe, but the holidays will be here quicker than we know it, and a number of festive events have already been scheduled. On Sunday, December 4, from 2-5pm, head to downtown Del Mar and Del Mar Plaza for the annual Old Fashioned Holiday Wonderland, which will feature a snow play area, horse-drawn carriage rides, restaurant tastes, holiday crafts and a fun zone for kids, a cake walk, various performances, and — yes — a special visit from Santa for pictures. At 5pm, the annual tree lighting takes place at the LAuberge Del Mar amphitheater. (www.delmarmainstreet.com)
