Meet Stone Flats

When Ranch residents Brad and Annie Mason began developing their new restaurant concept, they looked no further than their own kitchen. “Annie and I have a stone pizza oven at our home in The Bridges,” Brad explains. “When we would casually entertain friends and family, or for special events, we’d ask the chef at The Bridges to cater.” Chef Andy Johnson and team would bring all the ingredients for pizzas along with some par-baked “skins.” Guests would choose their sauce, cheese, meats, and veggies for their own custom flatbread. “Everybody just loved it and would try to outdo one another.” The trio continued testing various combinations and — voila! — Stone Flats was born. Each of the signature “flats” at the Scripps Ranch fast casual eatery is less than 500 calories, contains zero grams of trans fats, and is quite tasty indeed.
