Born in San Francisco and raised in Southern California, Hansen resides in Laguna Hills, CA, with Sandi Harry, whom he is engaged to marry on December 11.  He has a 27-year-old daughter. He was a carpenter, musician and actor before pursuing his life-long dream of becoming a pilot.
