Diving For A Cause

When August 9 arrives, KFMB’s Natasha Stenbock, along with more than 60 other San Diegans, will have accomplished nearly a dive a day for four weeks straight as part of Dive-a-Thon, San Diego Ocean’s Foundation’s (SDOF) largest fundraiser of the year. Much like a walk-a-thon, divers seek financial pledges from friends and family to support their diving goal to ultimately raise funds to bring ocean conservation to classrooms and communities across San Diego. SDOF has built a legacy of pioneering grassroots volunteer programs that increase our understanding of marine animals, protect ecosystems, and provide solutions to environmental challenges.
