Helen Woodward Animal Center reflects on the many challenges and successes of 2009 — the many wonderful orphans that needed help to survive — so many sad beginnings that ended in sheer joy and happiness for the orphans and their new families. Helen Woodward assisted over 62 organizations during 2009 through its Animal Center Education Services workshop series, and impacted over 1,300 participants around the United States and the world by presenting at animal welfare conferences and performing shelter assessments. The organization also traveled to Puerto Rico for the second year in a row to give locals the tools to start saving lives so desperately in need.
