This year as part of the annual “Green Skills for Life” family day event, the San Diego Air & Space Museum (SDASM) and Ford Motor Company Fund asked San Diego County students to present a green idea they and their friends could do by using the engaging medium of online video. All eighteen of the videos received were of such high quality it made it a difficult task for the judges to pick, but in the end they selected five outstanding winners who will each receive a $500 scholarship from the Ford Motor Company Fund.
This winning entry was submitted by 6-year-old Lana Lakdawala of Rancho Santa Fe, who demonstrates all the simple green things she does around the house and proves that if a 6-year-old can do these simple things, then so can we. Check back soon to see the other winner's videos.
