This year as part of the annual “Green Skills for Life” family day event, the San Diego Air & Space Museum (SDASM) and Ford Motor Company Fund asked San Diego County students to present a green idea they and their friends could do by using the engaging medium of online video. All eighteen of the videos received were of such high quality it made it a difficult task for the judges to pick, but in the end they selected five outstanding winners who will each receive a $500 scholarship from the Ford Motor Company Fund.
This winning entry was submitted by 16-year-old Mitchell Winkle of El Cajon, who suggests that we all become vegetarian for at least one day of the week to save the earth's resources. Check back soon to see the other winner's videos.
