San Diego jewelry designer Allison Neumann has unveiled a new line containing Montana sapphires from a private family holding. “Sapphires have been thought to symbolize truth, sincerity, love, friendship, and faithfulness,” notes Neumann. The pieces are made from recycled and refined gold and sapphires from Montana deposits. Though often heat-treated to alter their color and clarity, the sapphires in this collection are not treated, which makes them unique. Neumann is a Gemological Institute of America graduate with ten years of experience in the jewelry industry. Her work retails at Capricorn Boutique and Robina Apparel and Accessories, both in La Jolla, and will soon be featured in a gallery in Seattle as well.
