La Jolla’s Swiss Watch Gallery has created a custom-designed necklace as a donation item for Las Patronas’ upcoming Jewel Ball on Saturday, August 8. Created by Swiss Watch Gallery owner Hratch Torrosian, the 18-karat rose gold necklace was inspired by this year’s Jewel Ball theme, Silk & Spice. The pendant itself contains 9.95 ctw in tourmalines, emerald, blue topaz, and blue and cognac diamonds. It also contains 3.40 ctw in blue and pink sapphires and 1.50 ctw in round brilliant cut diamonds. In the center rests a very rare Afghan tourmaline.
