With a stunning ocean view, exciting vibe, and great seafood, steaks, salads, and vegetarian dishes, the new Flavor restaurant in Del Mar Plaza offers a little bit of something for everyone. “We’re taking simple ingredients and adding fun and unexpected twists,” says executive chef Jason Maitland. “Our seasonal menu is more about taking one standout protein or ingredient and really accentuating the natural flavors versus having tons of butter, fat, and sauces.” Although short ribs and pork belly are what people expect on a Maitland menu, there is quite a bit of lighter fare with a substantial organic, local, and sustainable focus.
