As many of you may have already heard, Julien Hug, beloved host of Mille Fleurs in Rancho Santa Fe, will be heading over the hills to run Augusta Modern, an upscale restaurant on El Paseo in Palm Desert recently purchased by the Hug family. To honor his departure and wish him well, Mille Fleurs has created a specialty cocktail named the Desert Breeze. Featured here as our cocktail of the month, it’s made with Tanqueray gin, St-Germain liqueur, pineapple juice, and a lemon twist.
