Owners Jenn and Greg Glassman of Zel’s in Del Mar have created an exciting oasis with their indoor restaurant, bar hangout, and open-air patio. Located on the corner of Camino Del Mar and 13th Street (where Café Del Mar was), the atmosphere is upscale casual and perfect for a date night out. From small plate items, soups, and salads to delicious flatbread pizzas, Jidori chicken, and the popular Brandt beef old school bar burger, you won’t leave hungry or broke. “When Greg and I decided to venture into the world of owning a restaurant, we wanted to keep the food affordable and cater to the locals and guests who wanted to come by often,” says Jenn.
