The Brigantine Family of restaurants has expanded once again with the addition of Miguel’s Cocina in Carlsbad. The restaurant’s warm and inviting open floor plan centers around a horseshoe-shaped bar, or guests can cozy up in padded booths. Miguel’s top-notch cuisine encompasses an expertly crafted collection of nearly every Mexican dish under the sun — think ceviche, camarones coctel, tacos, quesadillas, burritos, sizzling fajitas, hefty combination plates, you name it. Tortillas are made fresh on site, and if you dare, try the homemade habanero cream salsa (but have your remedy of choice handy). All hours are happy here, but Massive Monday offers all-night happy hour from 3pm to close, Taco Tuesday features $1 off selected tacos all day in the lounge, and Wine Wednesday boasts half off certain wines all day.
