Owner Karen Krasne’s new cheese bar at Extraordinary Desserts in Little Italy is now a regular attraction every Wednesday from 4-7pm. “I love unusual, artisanal cheeses and am always on the lookout for them when traveling. Our setup is unique in that we allow our customers to serve themselves and try as many different kinds as they want,” she says. “We also provide the names of our wines that pair well with each of the cheeses, so the customer does not have to ask or guess.” Don’t miss Ombra Sheep cheese from Spain, Fleur Vert goat cheese from France, and Rogue Smoked Blue cheese from Oregon paired with Krasne’s private label chutneys and jellies.
