Michel Benaroch Hair Studio, a sophisticated salon located in the Santaluz community, takes a long-term approach to styling clients. Benaroch and his highly trained staff work with the natural shape of the hair and blend shades that enhance existing hair color. Benaroch, who trained under Elie Ezerz, artistic director at Vidal Sassoon in Los Angeles, has been featured in Vogue and has worked with such celebs as Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder. After two decades in L.A., moving south was an obvious choice for the top stylist. “When I worked in Beverly Hills I had a clientele that came to me from Rancho Santa Fe and La Jolla,” Benaroch explains. “When we decided to move here the goal was to open a salon in each location — and we did.” (Benaroch also owns and operates Bella Salon in La Jolla.)
