Do you have a pin-up pooch? The San Diego Humane Society and SPCA is seeking photos of fabulous pets of all breeds, shapes, and sizes for inclusion in its 2012 calendar. Submissions are being accepted now through August 31, and all entries are guaranteed inclusion in the calendar. Contributors are encouraged to have friends and family vote for their photo online for a chance to win special prizes. What’s more, the person whose photo has the most votes will have an opportunity to be a part of a specially arranged photo shoot to be “model of the month” in the 2013 calendar. Photos can be submitted online or by mail and require a minimum donation of $25 per photograph, which will go towards supporting the vital programs and services of the San Diego Humane Society. In addition, a $25 donation automatically gets you a free copy of the 2012 calendar. The San Diego Humane Society has campuses in both San Diego and Oceanside and is supported solely through contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Muttique retail store, and small fees for services.
