The FACE Foundation unveiled its Tree of Life mural at The Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Sorrento Valley. The 65-foot mural will “grow” as animal enthusiasts add beloved pets’ names to leaves on the tree or have a likeness of their pet painted into the coastal landscape. “We want to give San Diego pet lovers a unique opportunity to make a lasting tribute to their cherished pets, while helping to save the lives of other family pets,” notes FACE executive director Stacy Steel. Named leaves are available for a $150 donation; pet portraits are $5,000. To date, the FACE Foundation has provided more than $350,000 in grants to save the lives of nearly 200 pets.
