The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas celebrate Carnevale in June, a summer-long festival featuring food and wine, entertainment, music, and art with an Italian flair. Inspired by festivals throughout Italy, Carnevale includes spectacular light shows each night, and an electric light parade. Enter through a giant 75-foot-high Venetian masquerade mask. At Doge’s Palace, an Italian piazza is complete with café tables, street vendors, and waiters serving up everything from sorbet to caprese and prosciutto panini. Or, how about a romantic gondola ride in the outdoor canal?
In June, Mese di Arte, or Art Month, features 3-D chalk artists, glass-blowers, and an interactive Art Walk; Mese di Musica in July entertains guests in a concert series; and Mese di Vino y Cucina in August offers wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, and classes.
