The Del Mar Village Association (DMVA) presented its annual Summer Solstice event at Powerhouse Park. Foodies and oenophiles enjoyed tastings by Americana, Kitchen 1540, Pacifica Del Mar, and Sbicca, along with the rhythmic music of Salsa Steel and stunning ocean views. Attendee also savored culinary creations from Doreen Fang and Aarti Sequeira, two finalists from season six of The Next Food Network Star, the popular Food Network series hosted by Bobby Flay. Proceeds benefited the DMVA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the vitality of the historic Del Mar Village.
