The Mercury Insurance Open presented by Tri-City Medical Center took place at La Costa Resort & Spa, and featuring some of the best women’s tennis players in the world. In keeping with the spirit of promoting health and wellness, Tri-City Hospital Foundation presented its inaugural Fashion that Heals in partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue of South Coast Plaza. The event, benefitting women’s health programs at Tri-City Medical Center, featured a silent auction, cocktails, appetizers, and a dazzling runway fashion show.
Attendees also enjoyed an enlightening presentation by keynote speaker Mimi Guarneri, MD, renowned cardiologist and national leader in the field of integrative medicine. The pioneer of the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine and author of The Heart Speaks discussed: “Health is Wealth: Renewing Body, Mind and Spirit.”
Since its creation in 1964, Tri-City Hospital Foundation has raised more than $43 million in support of Tri-City Medical Center initiatives, from blankets that keep patients warm to the latest robotic surgery systems, and everything in between.
