A reception took place at Park Del Mar Clubhouse to celebrate the recent purchase of Gateway Park by the San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy (SELC). Preserving this land as open space is a huge victory for our community, region, and the entire California coastline. There is still much work to be done to raise money to pay back the private individuals who put up the money for the purchase.
