Guests gathered for the La Jolla Institute for Allergy & Immunology’s Autumn Sunset Over La Jolla friend-raiser at the home of board member Rick Kornfeld and his wife, Carol, to learn more about the institute’s critical disease-fighting focus. The La Jolla Institute is focused on finding causes and new treatments for disease based on a better understanding of the immune system.
