The San Dieguito Chapter of National Charity League’s Class of 2011 Senior Recognition took place at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine. The Ticktockers have performed hundreds of hours of community service activities during their tenure, volunteering for more than 20 organizations including the American Cancer Society, Braille Institute, Hidden Valley House, and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, to name a few. This year’s class focused on the Senior Community Center, dedicating year-long efforts to celebrating holidays with the residents, playing bingo, or just lending an ear for companionship.
